Get In TouchOne of the highlights in the P & A Wood events calendar is the Goodwood Revival and this year was no different.
We took fifteen cars along to the event this year to take part in various aspects of the event.
Seven of the cars were displayed on our stand with a recently completed Bentley 4¼ Litre taking centre stage, following a total restoration to the highest possible standards here at P & A Wood. Either side sat two more Derby Bentleys both 3½ Litres, one a pretty Coupé by Hooper and the other a Corsica bodied Open Tourer. We also had a beautiful Bentley R-Type Continental Fastback and Rolls-Royce Phantom V (PV23) by James Young, as well as a handsome Rolls-Royce Phantom I and Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost.
Two cars were displayed in the March Motor Works section of the event (pictured) where the set replicated Rolls-Royce stand at the 1959 International Auto Show (IAA) in Frankfurt with a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Drophead Coupé along with a Standard Saloon.
Within the main event we also ran the course car for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars using a very original, low mileage Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II standard LWB saloon finished in Sage and Smoke Green. The car had the privilege of driving Rolls-Royce's guests around the famous Goodwood Circuit between races.
And finally the remaining five cars were chauffeuring VIP guests to and from the Goodwood Estate to the event, drawing a lot of attention as they carefully floated through the crowds, particularly the Rolls-Royce Phantom III by Arthur Mulliner which performed seamlessly and seemed to delight everybody.
As you can tell it was extremely busy for us but with great weather this year and everyone in great Revival spirit, we thoroughly enjoyed the event.
