The Coachmakers award Kurt Jennings with the Bentley Historic Restoration Skills Award

We are delighted to share that Kurt Jennings, who is training in our late post-war mechanical department, has been awarded the Bentley Historic Restoration Skills Award for apprentices delivering excellence in the restoration of Bentley cars at the Coachmakers Automotive Dinner in March.

Kurt grew up working on old vehicles and engines, learning how to repair and maintain them from a young age, making P & A Wood a natural fit for him to progress his career. He says “I love working here as there is always exciting prospects taking place. Such as a recent project restoring the very first Bentley T Series for Bentley Motor’s themselves, which I was heavily involved in. The award money will be used for mechanical essentials such as my own toolbox and tools to fill it.”

We are very proud of Kurt and our young team members who strive to learn and take on new skills on a daily basis here at P & A Wood. Congratulations to Kurt and the team who support him – well done.
