Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally 2018

P & A Wood were once again in attendance at the RREC Annual Rally, the largest event of the Rolls-Royce calendar in the UK.

As keen supporters of the event, we always take a large stand to show off current cars available for sale which this year included a totally original Bentley R-Type Continental Fastback by H.J.Mulliner with 50,000 miles from new and only two owners, along with the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost London to Edinburgh 1911, Chassis no. 1701, the famour original car which completed the London to Edinburgh Top Gear Trials in 1911. These two cars stood on the stand along side eight other excellent examples of different models of Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motor Cars.

We were very proud to have a number of customers who had entered their cars for the concours following completion of work here at P & A Wood. The results came in and we were delighted;

Bentley 3½ Litre owned by Mr Neidhart – 1st in Class & Best in Show
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III owned by Mr Erskine – 1st in Class
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III owned by Mr Allan – 2nd in Class
Rolls-Royce Phantom owned by Mr Sait - 1st in Class
Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn owned by Mr Bunger – 1st in Class
Rolls-Royce Phantom III onwed by Mr & Mrs Robet – 1st in Class
Bentley Mk VI Lightweight owned by Mr Kriz – 2nd in Class
Bentley S1 Continental Fastback owned by Mr Steinberg – 2nd in Class

Out of the six cars selected to be judged for Best in Show, four were P & A Wood cars.

We would like to thank our owners for entering their cars and taking them to concours events where we get the opportunity to put our work in the spotlight of judges, our own team for the amazing work they do and of course to the team who ran the event for putting together such a well organised and enjoyable weekend.

Many thanks to all.
