Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club Annual Rally 2024

The team at P & A Wood have just returned from a wonderful few days at the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club Annual Rally held at Burghley House in Stamford.

We took a great selection of cars for our stand including a beautifully elegant Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental, a rare Bentley S3 Continental 2-door Coupe and a striking Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible amongst others. Having a new Rolls-Royce Spectre sitting between a Rolls-Royce Wraith by P & A Wood and a Bentley Continental GT generated some enthusiastic and interesting discussion and the stand was full of visitors all weekend.

We had been asked by the team at The Hunt House if we would assist with the 120 Years Celebration of Rolls-Royce display which would tell the early history of Rolls-Royce. They wanted to use the Rolls-Royce 10HP ‘SU13’ (thanks to kind permission of the owner) and Paul Woods 1901 Decauville 10HP which remains in our family, so we were delighted to display the two cars together.

With the sun shining on us on Sunday we have a number of customers cars entered in the concours and were delighted with some excellent results:

1956 Bentley S1 Continental Drophead Coupe by Park Ward – First in Class
1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Standard Saloon – First in Class
1934 Bentley 3 ½ Litre Sports Saloon by Park Ward – First Elegance

We couldn’t be more proud of the team for the amazing achievement with these cars and would like to take the opportunity to thank them for all their hard work.

We would also like to thank everyone who attended and came to see us, the customers who allow us to work to very high standards and enter their cars in events that showcase our work and the entire team at the RREC for putting on a great show. They even arranged the weather!
